
Chicago Sky Waive Zhaque Gray

CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky have waived guard Zhaque Gray. The 5-foot-8 shooting guard signed as a free agent to training camp on April 25, 2014.
Gray was named Honorable Mention All Big Ten at Penn State University averaging 10.4 points per game in her senior season. Following her collegiate career, Gray signed with Wasserburg, Germany in 2013 and led the team to their seventh German DBBL Championship. In high school, the Chicago native led Prep John Hope High School to three Chicago League Championships and was selected as Chicago Public League's Female Athlete of the Year.
The Sky's home opener against Eastern Conference rival Indiana Fever will take place at the Allstate Arena on Friday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. CT. The game will broadcast on The U Too.
