San Francisco Bulls News Release

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The San Francisco Bulls Professional Hockey Team, proud affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, announced today they have agreed to terms with center Anthony Perdicaro (PER-di-CARE-oh) and right wing Danick Paquette (PA-ket). The Bulls have now added four forwards to their 2013-14 roster.

"Anthony brings skill and a physical style to our lineup," said SF Bulls President and Head Coach Pat Curcio. "Last year he was a top player in the CHL and we are confident he'll be a top player in the ECHL. We are excited to have Danick, who has the potential to get to the next level and the NHL. He's a skillful power forward, who will fit well on our team this season."

Perdicaro, 24, enters his fourth season of professional hockey. Last season, he ranked fifth on the Quad City Mallards of the Central Hockey League (CHL) with 43 points (16 goals, 27 assists) in 44 games. His 103 penalty minutes also ranked third on the team. The 6-foot, 2-inch, 190-pound, East Rockaway, New York native has also played for the Rapid City Rush of the CHL, the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL, the Port Huron Icehawks of the International Hockey League and the Fayetteville FireAntz of the Southern Professional Hockey League. In 97 career ECHL, CHL and IHL games, Perdicaro has produced 61 points (27 goals, 34 assists) and 221 penalty minutes.

"I'm excited to get out there and play for Pat and the Bulls fans," said Perdicaro. "After talking to Pat this summer, the Bulls seemed like the right fit. I'm ready to go and win some games. I've never played in a big city, mostly small towns. But coming from New York and Florida, it won't be too big of an adjustment."

Paquette, 23, was a third-round draft pick, 64th overall, of the Atlanta Thrashers in 2008. He is entering his fifth season of professional hockey. In 2012-13, he split the season between the Hershey Bears of the American Hockey League and the ECHL-champion Reading Royals. The 6-foot, 210-pound Montreal, Quebec native has played in six AHL games between the Chicago Wolves and Hershey. Paquette has totaled 55 points (28 goals, 27 assists) and 466 penalty minutes in 131 career ECHL games with the Gwinnett Gladiators, South Carolina Stingrays, Utah Grizzlies, Chicago Express and Reading. Prior to turning pro, Paquette served as captain of the Lewiston MAINEacs of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). He was also named an alternate captain of the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL in his final season of junior hockey. Paquette amassed 175 points (94 goals, 81 assists) and 691 penalty minutes in 251 career QMJHL games.
