
The Xplosive Edge's Gibbie Duval to direct Lancers' strength & conditioning program.

RALSTON, NE - The Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) have named Gibbie Duval, owner and Director of Athletic Performance at Omaha's "The Xplosive Edge", as the Lancers' new strength and conditioning coach, the team announced Thursday.
"Gibbie will provide our players with a foundation upon which they can build," said Lancers Head Coach and General Manager Brian Kaufman on Thursday, "His cutting edge program will help our guys meet their physical potential."
A personal trainer at "The Xplosive Edge" since 2004, Duval is certified by the United States of America Weightlifting Association, holds a Sports Performance Coach certification and is certified as a "Strength and Conditioning Expert" by the Tudor Bompa Institute.
"I am very excited to team up with the Lancers," said Duval Thursday, "My goal is to provide the most scientific-based sports performance training possible."
A member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Duval has worked with Olympic gold medalists, NFL players and Stanley Cup Champions throughout his career and previously trained former Lancers standouts Jed Ortmeyer and Dan Hacker, among many other NHL and AHL clients.
