
Hayes to miss 3-4 weeks for the league-leading Dream

ATLANTA - Atlanta Dream guard Tiffany Hayes underwent successful surgery to repair a torn meniscus in her left knee, the team announced today. A full recovery is expected, but Hayes will miss 3-4 weeks.
Hayes, a 5-10 second-year guard, has started two games this season for the league-leading Dream (10-1), averaging 10.2 points and 4.2 rebounds. She has reached double figures in scoring six times and has led the team in scoring twice, including a season-best 21-point effort in the season opener against Tulsa.
Hayes averaged 8.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists as a rookie in 2012 while being named to the WNBA All-Rookie Team.
