Pacifics Fall to Vallejo Admirals 6-4 at Wilson Park

SAN RAFAEL, Calif. - The San Rafael Pacifics lost to the Vallejo Admirals, 6-4, on Tuesday night at Wilson Park, snapping the team's nine-game win streak.

Pacifics (12-4) starter, Bennett Whitmore, ran i nto trouble right away, as Vallejo scored three times on one swing of the bat by Ronlando Petit, who lined his fourth home run of the season just to the right of the left field score board.

Whitmore failed to get out of the fifth inning, going just 4 1/3 innings while allowing six earned runs. The southpaw surrendered 10 hits, and walked one.

San Rafael's best chance at a comeback came in the seventh inning. After a hit batter and back-to-back outs with one out, third baseman Kyle Dhanani grounded into an inning-ending double play.
