Missouri Mavericks Host Press Conference June 13 at 11 am

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks of the Central Hockey League (CHL) will host a Press Conference Thursday, June 13 at 11a.m. inside the Presidents Club at Independence Events Center.

The Mavericks 5th Season logo will be unveiled and several player signings and announcements will be made, along with a 5th Anniversary jersey giveaway initiative that will allow fans to vote on their favorite past jersey designs.

"We are extremely excited to begin what will be a year-long hockey celebration in Kansas City commemorating our fifth season in Independence," said team president Brent Thiessen. "This gives us time to reflect back on the quality players that have led our team in previous seasons and build towards what will inevitably be our best campaign yet."

Several Mavericks' players will be present to discuss their goals for the upcoming season and answer questions from fans and media.

Missouri Mavericks 2013-14 season tickets are on sale now and start at just over $11 per game. The Mavericks are offering a new Season Ticket Exchange Program.
