Rochester Red Wings News Release
The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed infielder Trevor Plouffe on the 7-day disabled list with a concussion.
To replace Plouffe on the 25-man roster, the Twins have selected the contract of infielder/outfielder Chris Colabello from Triple-A Rochester. In 46 games for the Red Wings, Colabello hit .358 (63-for-176) with 17 doubles, 12 home runs and 39 RBI while slugging .659.
To make room for Colabello on the Twins 40-man roster, the Twins transferred outfielder Darin Mastroianni to the 60-day disabled list.
Colabello will join the Twins in Atlanta today and wear uniform number 55.
