Sugar Land Space Cowboys News Release
The Skeeters powered their way to a 6-5 win and improve to 26-5 on Tuesday Night at Sovereign Bank Stadium, to begin a seven game road trip that started with three in York, as they took on the Revolution. They used a Dustin Martin two-run homer in the first and a solo shot by Josh Pressley in the third to lead 3-0. They added two more on a double by Anthony Granato in the sixth, to take a 5-0 lead behind Scott Elarton. York scored two in the sixth though and three in the eighth to make it 6-5, but that would be as close as they got, as Sugar Land holds on for the 6-5 win. Scott Elarton pitched well in the win, picking up the victory, going 5.2 innings, allowing two runs, on six hits.
