Stockton Ports News Release
LANCASTER, Calif.- The Ports looked to seek revenge a day after being no-hit by the JetHawks but their plans were stifled as Lancaster scored 6 runs in the 4th to go on to win 6-3 in the final game of the road trip.
The Ports scored the first run of the game in the top of the second inning as catcher Philip Pohl drew a one-out walk and stole second base. He would eventually score on a throwing error by JetHawks catcher Carlos Perdomo. Ports starter Deyvi Jimenez allowed six runs to score during the bottom of the fourth. The Ports would rally a comeback in the top of the eighth scoring two runs, but would eventually fall 6-3 to the Lancaster JetHawks. Deyvi Jimenez suffers the loss, he is now 0-2 on the season. Philip Pohl was 1-for-3 on the afternoon with two runs scored.
The Ports have the day off on Tuesday, May 14th and open up a seven game homestand starting Wednesday against the Bakersfield Blaze. First pitch on Wednesday is set for 7:05pm.
