Windsor Spitfires News Release
Nearly 40 minor hockey teams, social agencies and charitable organizations from across Windsor and Essex County benefited from the hard work of Spitfires Coordinator of Fan Development, Nathan Sellon, during the 2012-13 season.
Through ticket programs held in conjunction with local groups, a total of $15,945.00 was raised and donated back to the likes of Sandwich Secondary School, Windsor AAA Zone Minor Peewees and the Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital Foundation.
The money was raised through a combination of Fundraiser Nights, the Southland Insurance High School Hockey Shootout and our Anthem Program.
Thanks to Nathan for all his hard work. And thanks to those (listed below) that enjoyed some great Spitfires hockey while raising some much-needed funds this past season as part of our ticket programs.
