Montgomery, AL - For the fifth consecutive series, the Mississippi Braves won four out of five games, as they downed the Montgomery Biscuits by a score of 5-4 in eleven innings on Saturday night.

Phil Gosselin gave the Braves (22-12) the win with his go-ahead sacrifice fly to center in the top of the eleventh inning. It was Gosselin's third RBI of the game.

Mark Lamm (3-1) pitched the bottom of the frame to pick up the win in relief. Matt Nevarez (2-1) took the loss, allowing just the run on one hit.

The Braves led early thanks to back-to-back doubles for Edward Salcedo and Kyle Russell in the top of the second.

Montgomery tied the game quickly on an RBI fielder's choice for Mayo Acosta in the bottom of the inning, plating Todd Glaesmann to make it 1-1.

Mississippi took the lead again when Tommy La Stella ripped his first double-A home run, a solo shot to right-center to make it 2-1. Then in the fourth, Gosselin had a two-out, full-count, two-run single to make it 4-1 Braves.

But the Biscuits came charging back, tying the game in the fifth inning. Aaron Northcraft hit Riccio Torrez to lead off the inning, and Mayo Acosta singled to put two on and nobody out. Shawn O'Malley grounded into a force at second, setting up an RBI single for Kevin Kiermaier.

Robby Price then grounded to second and O'Malley scored all the way from second base to make it 4-3. A batter later, Mikie Mahtook tripled to score Kiermaier from second and tie the game 4-4, where it stayed until the 11th.

Aaron Northcraft allowed four runs on five hits over 4 2/3 innings, taking a no-decision. Victor Mateo was chased after 5 2/3 after allowing four runs on eleven hits.
