Bombers Anchor Infield with New Aggie Signing

As the summer continues to draw near, the Bombers are only getting stronger in recent signings. The Brazos Valley Bombers announced today the signing of Texas A&M freshman Hunter Melton.

Melton was announced earlier in the week as the SEC Freshman of the Week and is expected to be one of the leaders of the Bombers infield this upcoming season. The Corsicana, Texas-native currently leads the Aggie roster in home runs this season with only 16 starts thus far this spring and is only the third Aggie to earn SEC Freshman of the week honors this season.

Since assuming the starting role, Hunter Melton, has hit .294 and has proven to be very disciplined at the plate. Expect to see Melton hitting in the heart of the order this summer as the Bombers take the field in less than 3 weeks.
