Bombers Sign Michigan's Wysocki

BATTLE CREEK, MI- The Battle Creek Bombers have announced the signing of pitcher Cam Wysocki from the University of Michigan.

Cam Wysocki: 6'3" - 180lb, B/R-T/R, RHP, Michigan (Fr.), Ada, Mich.

Wysocki made his collegiate debut against Fordham on February 23rd. During his time at Forest Hills Northern High School, Cam was a varsity letter winner from 2009-2012. He was named to the 2012 All-State Dream Team. Wysocki was the No.2 prospect in 2012 according to Michigan Baseball Prospects and the starting pitcher for the East-West All-Star Game at Comerica Park.

As a senior, Wysocki went 7-0 with a 0.88 ERA compiling 79 strikeouts in 48 innings of work. He also hit .562 with nine doubles, two triples, a home run and 30 RBI's. He was also a perfect 25-for-25 in stolen base attempts. In his junior season, Wysocki led Forest Hills Northern to its first district title since 1993. He also played football and basketball. In his senior year he broke the school's single-season passing yardage record and set records in career passing yards and touchdown passes. His father, Dane, played baseball at Michigan from 1982-83. He is enrolled in the College of Literature, Science and the Arts. He is undecided on his major.

The Battle Creek Bombers are members of the Northwoods League that has more teams, plays more games, and draws more fans than any other summer collegiate baseball league in America.
