Two pitchers from a national powerhouse will play their summer ball in Green Bay in 2013.

University of Texas freshmen Travis Duke and Holden Helmink will make their Northwoods League debuts in the 2013 season.

Duke, a left-handed thrower who stands at 6'2", is a native of Pearland, Tex. He has made 13 relief appearances for the Longhorns this season. Duke has posted a stifling 0.98 ERA in 18.1 innings pitched. He has also struck out 14 batters while walking just six.

Duke was named to the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for the Fall 2012 semester.

Helmink is also a Texas native, hailing from Conroe, Tex. He is a right-handed pitcher, and has not appeared in any games for the Longhorns in 2013. In high school, Helmink was ranked as the No. 193 prospect nationally by Perfect Game, and the No. 21 prospect in Texas.

The Bullfrogs home opener in 2013 is May 30 against the Wisconsin Woodchucks. First pitch is scheduled for 6:35 p.m., and tickets are available.
