Wisconsin Rapids Rafters News Release
Wisconsin Rapids, WI- Wednesday, February 27th. The Rafters have partnered with Element Mobile to unveil plans for a new deck at historic Witter Field in 2013. The new deck area will be a steel structure, lofted approximately ten feet above ground level. It will serve as a group hospitality area during Rafters games while also providing cover for the current third base courtyard. This will provide another great in-game entertainment venue for businesses to entertain employees and customers, bachelor/bachelorette parties, family picnics, and other group outings during Rafters games this summer.
Element Mobile, a wireless carrier headquartered in Wisconsin Rapids, will be the presenting sponsor for the new deck area which will accommodate groups of up to 100 people with a minimum of 20 guests required to secure a reservation. To receive exclusivity on the deck for an evening, a group of 80 or more must be booked. Included in the $20 per person ticket price will be an all-you-can-eat ballpark buffet and unlimited fountain soda and water lasting from one hour prior to the game through the end of the 5th inning. Beer will not be included in the ticket price but will be available for $1.50 per glass for all of-age guests during that time. The ballpark buffet menu would include, but is not limited to: burgers, brats, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, baked beans, potato chips, scalloped cinnamon apples, Pepsi Products, and Budweiser Products.
