Annual Job Fair Just One Week Away

(FORT MILL, S.C.) - The 2013 season is right around the corner and the Charlotte Knights and Ovations Food Services will be looking for hard-working and energetic game day employees at this year's annual job fair, which is set for Thursday, February 28 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Budweiser Brewhouse, located at Knights Stadium.

The Knights are hiring game day employees in the following areas:

. Ushers

. Parking

. Ticket Scanners

. Team Store Cashiers

. Restaurant Servers

. Concession Cashiers

. Prep Cooks

. On-Field Entertainment/Promotions

Opening Day is Thursday, April 11 and the regular season will conclude on Monday, September 2. Those seeking to be a part of the Knights game day staff must be available to work nights and weekends beginning in April. The majority of weekday and Saturday games are played in the evening (7:15 p.m.) and most Sunday games are played in the afternoon (2:15 p.m.). All candidates must be at least 16 years old and should come to the job fair with valid identification.

Participants in the Knights job fair will need to complete an application and can do so in advance by downloading a copy from www.charlotteknights.com. Employees are also subject to a criminal background check.
