
Red Claws Activate Jeremiah Rivers, Place Xavier Silas on Inactive List

PORTLAND, ME - The Maine Red Claws, presented by Unum, today announced that they have activated guard Jeremiah Rivers. Rivers has been on the Inactive List since preseason following off season ankle surgery. He is expected to make his Red Claws' debut tonight in Reno as the Red Claws take on the Bighorns at 10 PM (ET).
To make room on the roster, the team has placed guard Xavier Silas on the Inactive List. Silas is expected to undergo shoulder surgery later this week after injuring his left shoulder in a hard fall during Tuesday night's game at Rio Grande Valley.
The Red Claws will take on the Reno Bighorns tonight at 10 PM in Reno, NV in the third of five straight road games. Following tonight's game, the team will travel to California where they will face the Bakersfield Jam on Friday and the Santa Cruz Warriors on Saturday to conclude the trip. Maine will return home March 1 for the first of a two-game set vs. the Erie BayHawks.
