
New Grasshoppers Manager at NewBridge Bank Park this Friday

(GREENSBORO, NC) FRIDAY, February 22nd at 10:00 a.m., Jorge Hernandez, the Grasshoppers new field manager for the 2013 season, will be making a pre-season visit to NewBridge Bank Park. Hernandez will be available for a question and answer session inside the Majestic Yard merchandise store. This will be the first opportunity for local media interviews. All media and the public are invited and encouraged to attend. Light refreshments and coffee will be provided.
2013 marks Jorge Hernandez's first season at the helm of the Greensboro Grasshoppers. He has spent the past three seasons as manager of the Gulf Coast Marlins. Hernandez is not a stranger to Greensboro; he was the Grasshoppers hitting coach during the 2008 season. His professional coaching career started in 2004 with the Pensacola Pelicans as hitting coach.
