Volcanoes' Unveil Youth Baseball / Softball Opportunities

v Opening Ceremonies : All youth leagues are invited to run your opening ceremonies here at Volcanoes Stadium. What better place than to have a parade of teams and celebrate the beginning of baseball stadium than here where "Giant Dreams Begin"? Another option would be to invite the Volcanoes' Mascot CRATER to take part in your ceremonies !

v Team Photo : All youth teams are invited to have your team photos taken here at Volcanoes Stadium. The Stadium makes an excellent backdrop and the kids love coming here.

v Baseball / Softball Buddies : Youth teams are invited to be Volcanoes baseball buddies on any Volcanoes' game day. Teams will get a chance to meet the Volcanoes players and run out to their position with the Volcanoes for the National Anthem. Spaces are limited and are issued on a first come first serve basis, please contact Jerry Howard at j.howard@volcanoesbaseball.com or (503) 779 - 4088 to sign up or with further questions.

v Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit and Run Competition : All youth ages 7 - 14 are invited to participate in the Major League Baseball's Pitch, Hit and Run competition held here at Volcanoes Stadium on Saturday May 4th from 3:00pm - 5:00pm.

v Volcanoes FREE Water Campaign : The Volcanoes along with Oregon Rain from Eola Bottling of Gervais, are teaming up to provide up to 10,000 bottles of water to area youth baseball and softball programs and teams this spring. Quantities could be limited based on availability and demand. Sell in your concession stands or provide for the players. (bottle deposit must be paid to manufacturer)

v Monday Night Kid's Nights : Each Monday night game during the 2013 Volcanoes season will be Kid's Night. All kids ages 12 and under can e-mail Jerry Walker at jwalker@volcanoesbaseball.com for a FREE general admission ticket voucher for any Monday Night Volcanoes' home game !

o Game Dates are June 24, July 1 (Patriotic Tribute), July 15, July 29, August 12, and September 2

v Wednesday Family Feast Nights : $1 Hot Dogs, $1 Sodas, $1 Popcorn, and $1 Ice Cream. Need we say more? Beginning Wednesday July 10, all Wednesday Volcanoes' home games will be $1 Family Feast Nights.

o Game Dates are July 10, July 17, July 24, August 21

v Youth Baseball / Softball Night : The Volcanoes would like to honor all youth baseball leagues and teams on two special nights this upcoming summer. Choose from Monday, June 24 or Monday July 15. The Volcanoes invite all players or teams to wear their uniforms, and/or team hats for pre-game festivities when they all get to meet the Volcanoes' players on-the-field prior to the game !

o Kids ages 12 and under can e-mail Jerry Walker at jwalker@volcanoesbaseball.com for a voucher for a free ticket as both nights fall on Monday Night Kid's Nights!

v Youth Baseball / Softball Clinic : The Volcanoes would like to invite all youth to a baseball/softball clinic to be put on by Volcanoes players and coaches. The clinic will be on Sunday, July 28, from 3:30pm - 4:30pm. Clinic is FREE to all youth with paid admission to game.

v FUNraising with the Volcanoes : All youth programs needing to fundraise are invited to partner up with the Volcanoes by selling tickets for any Sunday through Thursday Volcanoes' game this season. v Kids Glove Program : Need a Glove? Have a Glove you don't need ? The Volcanoes' Kid's Glove Program will take care of your need. We'll supply kids in need with a glove.
