Gamblers Acquire Goaltender

(Green Bay, WI) The Green Bay Gamblers of the United States Hockey League have acquired goaltender Richard Ullberg from the Finland U20 Team.

"We are excited about the acquisition of Richard Ullberg," said head coach Derek Lalonde. "We hope his success on the international stage and at the highest level of hockey in Finland will give our goaltending a boost as we make our push for playoff positioning."

Ullberg spent the first part of the 2012-13 season with SaiPa U20. The Finland native posted a 3.00 goals against average and .925 save percentage. He has competed in eight world junior tournaments for Team Finland.

The Gamblers are home this Friday night, January 18 as they take on the Sioux Falls Stampede at the Resch Center for the team's annual Dash for Cash promotion presented by North Shore Bank. Face-off is set for 7:05pm. For more information on promotions and tickets visit gamblershockey.com.
