
Bighorns' Winning Streak Snapped by Stampede

RENO, NV - The Reno Bighorns four-game winning streak came to an end Saturday, as the team lost to the Idaho Stampede (5-15) 120-95. The Bighorns' record now stands at 8-9.
The Bighorns never led in the game and trailed the Stampede by as many as 33 points. Just one night after defeating Idaho 103-85, the Bighorns were out-rebounded 68-36. Reno also shot just 36.8% from the field. Memphis Grizzlies' assignee Tony Wroten set a new personal season-high with 27 points. Jerome Jordan chipped in 17 points for Reno.
Idaho was paced by Justin Holiday's 28 points. Boise State alum Coby Karl dished out 11 assists and Carlon Brown had 21 points. Sean Evans and Justin Harper each recorded double-doubles for the Stampede, with Evans scoring 14 points and pulling in 11 rebounds. Harper had 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Idaho also dominated the offensive glass, pulling down 20 offensive rebounds, compared to just six for the Bighorns.
The Bighorns hit the road again for a two-game set against the Rio Grande Valley Vipers this Thursday and Friday. The game can be seen live and for free on nbadleague.com via Youtube.
