Minnesota United FC News Release

With the 2013 North American Soccer League schedule revealed Thursday, Minnesota Stars FC announced its season ticket options for 2013 and placed a variety of ticket packages on sale, including two new options for the upcoming season. In 2013, the club will offer a 14-game full-season package, an eight-game half-season package and a five-game Metrodome-only package.

"Even though our new ownership group is making significant investment into this club, we are excited to be able to offer our 2013 season ticket prices at the exact same price as the 2012 season," said Minnesota Stars FC CEO, Djorn Buchholz. "With the help of our loyal fan base, we have been able to secure a strong and committed ownership group. It's now our chance as a fan base to prove to the ownership group that they have made the right investment by purchasing season tickets and continuing to give the Minnesota Stars one of the biggest home field advantages in the NASL."

Full season ticket costs will remain the same in 2013. Complete pricing information for all ticket packages is as follows:

Seating Area Full Half Dome 5 Pack

Youth GA $80 $46 $29

Adult GA $145 $92 $55

Reserved $220 $132 $85

Pitch Side $325 - N/A - $125

General Admission and Reserved full and half-season packages will continue the club's tradition of offering its fans FLEX tickets to use in the way that's most convenient. FLEX tickets are not dated or game-specific, allowing patrons to miss games without wasting tickets or to use multiple tickets to bring guests to games. Due to limited quantities and assigned seating, Pitch Side seats at Stars FC home games will continue to be game specific, and a half-season Pitch Side package will not be available.

The five-game Metrodome package consists of five dated, game-specific tickets valid only at the team's first five games. The Stars will play the first five home games of 2013-April 6, April 20, May 4, May 18 and June 8-at Minneapolis' Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome before returning to NSC Stadium in Blaine for the remainder of the season.

Seating at both venues is available in the following areas:

General admission includes all bench seating and standing room areas at NSC Stadium, including all east-side bleachers and the north-end Beer Garden, but excluding the chair-back seats in section 10 of the main grandstand. GA seating at the HHH Metrodome includes all open areas in the lower bowl except sections 132, 133 and 134. Reserved seating includes chair-back seats in section 10 of the NSC Stadium main grandstand and sections 132, 133 and 134 of the HHH Metrodome. Reserved sections close to the midfield line at both stadiums. Pitchside seating features on-field chairs that run the length of the west sideline at NSC Stadium and the length of both sidelines at the HHH Metrodome and are as close to the action and team benches as fans can get.

Becoming a full-season or half-season ticket holder includes several benefits for fans. Season ticket holders will receive ticket ordering priority for exhibition and cup games, as well as the NASL Soccer Bowl final, if Minnesota wins the right to host it by winning the Spring Season. Season ticket holders will also pay their per-game ticket price for those games, providing additional savings when pre-ordering. Fans will also be able to purchase advance tickets prior to any home game and save an additional dollar on presale prices. The club will also offer all fans a chance to turn their ticket into a Supporters' ticket by adding a scarf to their package at the time of purchase for $15, a $5 saving. Finally, the club will offer monthly payment options, allowing fans to spread the cost of the ticket over as many as three interest-free payments.

Season tickets are available now by calling the Minnesota Stars FC box office at (763) 792-7355 or by visiting mnstarsfc.com.
