
Otters Lose in Owen Sound, 6-1

Owen Sound, Ont. - The Erie Otters saw their three-game winning streak come to an end as the Owen Sound Attack scored three power play goals to key a 6-1 win over Erie Friday night.
Holden Cook scored the only goal of the first period for Owen Sound as he whacked in a rebound from a Kurtis MacDermid shot 6:52 into the game.
Kurtis Gabriel and Dan Catenacci each scored in the second period to give the Attack a 3-0 lead after two periods of play. Catenacci scored on the power play for Owen Sound, ending a run of 23 consecutive penalty kills by the Otters.
Connor Crisp scored on the power play 5:32 into the third to put the Otters on the board. Crisp banged in a rebound from a Stephen Harper shot for his 14th goal of the season.
The Otters pressed for most of the third period, but the Attack scored three goals in the final 6:18 to grab a 6-1 win at home.
