Pacifics Announce Open Tryout Scheduled for January

SAN RAFAEL, Calif - The 2012 North American League Champion, San Rafael Pacifics, have announced that the team will hold an open tryout camp at College of Marin for their upcoming 2013 season on Saturday, January 26, 2013. The Pacifics will be looking to fill numerous roster spots at all positions.
2012 Pacifics Manager Mike Marshall and pitching coach Tyler Pearson will conduct the tryout, and scouts from the Baltimore Orioles and Arizona Diamondbacks have confirmed their attendance. The 2012 tryout camp produced All Star 1st Baseman Johnny Woodard (Fairfield, CA).
The tryout will begin at 8:00 AM at the College of Marin (Kentfield Campus, 835 College Avenue, Kentfield CA 94904). Players should expect to show off their defensive and offensive skills, as well as participate in a live game where pitchers will have the opportunity to throw one inning. Player signing and spring training invite announcements will be made immediately following the conclusion of the tryout.
Pre-registration cost is $100 and day-of registration is $150. The tryout is open to the first 80 players to sign up and open to all players that have exhausted amateur eligibility and have previous pro or college experience.
