American Hockey League Announces Suspension

December 7, 2012 - American Hockey League (AHL) News Release


SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Bridgeport Sound Tigers left wing Brandon DeFazio has been suspended for six (6) games as a consequence of his actions in a game at Connecticut on Dec. 5. DeFazio was assessed a game misconduct for leaving the players' bench for the purpose of starting an altercation.

DeFazio will miss Bridgeport's games Saturday (Dec. 8) at Albany; Sunday (Dec. 9) vs. Syracuse; Tuesday (Dec. 11) at Portland; Dec. 14 at Dec. 15 at Norfolk; and Dec. 19 vs. Albany.
