Bighorns' Late Rally Falls Short against Warriors

RENO, NEV - The Reno Bighorns late rally fell short against the Santa Cruz Warriors Friday night at the Bighorns home opener at the Reno Events Center. The final score was 101-95.

The Bighorns, who trailed most the night, cut the Warriors lead to one point with 1:36 left in the game. Garrett Temple led the way for the Bighorns with 23 points in 42 minutes. Anthony Richardson scored 22 points on 7-11 shooting.

Kent Bazemore of the Warriors, assigned to the team today from the Golden State Warriors, scored 27 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. The Warriors shot 46.4% from the floor and also shot 42.9% from the three-point line.

The Bighorns Opening Weekend continues on Sunday, December 2nd at 3 p.m., with the first Kids Court Time of the season. All kids are invited to stay after the game and shoot hoops on the floor with Bighorns player. Season tickets and group tickets are on sale today.
