Not meeting since the second week the season, the Kalamazoo Wings and Toledo Walleye will tangle for the third time this season and in the process begin a home-and-home series. In total the teams will meet 13 times this year, so far each club has won once on their own home ice.
Winners of two straight at home, the K-Wings will close out a brief two-game home stand. With 18 points, Kalamazoo is one point ahead of the Fort Wayne Komets for third place and trail Toledo by three points, with a game in hand, for second place honors in the North Division.
Riding a four-game road winning streak, the Walleye hit the ice looking to move into first place in the North Division. The Walleye trail the Cincinnati Cyclones by a single point for the division top spot. On the season, Toledo is 6-2-0-1 on the road with one of their losses occurring October 20th against the K-Wings.

Today is the first of four home games for the K-Wings. Traditional with their Sunday contests, the K-Wings will don special Slappy based jerseys.
Rolling Along
Forwards John Armstrong, Aaron Clarke and Kory Karlander each have earned points in three straight games. Besides the three-game point streak, Clarke is currently on a K-Wings season-high tying two-game goal streak.
Scoring in Bunches
With two-goal performances from John Armstrong and Brett Lysak on Friday night, Kalamazoo has had players record multiple goal games eight times this season. Of the eight occasions, Lysak has been a part of four of them.
Battling Their Own
Starting on Thanksgiving, the K-Wings have begun a stretch of nine divisional contests. Kalamazoo, who is 7-5-0-0 against the North Division, has played all but five games this season within their own division.
