ROCHESTER, NY - The Rochester Red Wings have promoted Penfield residents Bob Craig to Director of Group Sales/Promotions and Danielle Barone to Director of Community Relations. General Manager Dan Mason made the announcement.

Craig, 28, joined the Red Wings as an intern in 2006 and became a full-time Account Executive in 2007. He became Assistant Director of Group Sales in 2010 and Director of Promotions in 2011. The Churchville-born Craig will continue to lead the club's promotions effort in addition to leading the group sales department.

Craig is a 2002 graduate of Churchville-Chili High School and a 2006 graduate of St. John Fisher College, where he played for the Cardinals' hockey team for four seasons. He and his wife Liz reside in Penfield.

Barone, 25, joined the Red Wings as an intern in 2009 and became a member of the full-time staff in 2010 as an Account Executive. She will continue working in group sales while spearheading the organization's community relations effort.

The Rochester-born Barone is a 2004 graduate of Penfield High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication from the University at Buffalo in 2008 and a Masters Degree in International Sport Management from SUNY Cortland and London Metropolitan University in 2009.

"It's always an exciting time when well-deserving staff members are promoted from within," Mason said. "Bob and Danielle have both displayed a second-to-none work ethic since the moment they arrived on staff. Their youthful enthusiasm and desire to take the initiative will help take the Red Wings to new heights."
