
Tickets on Sale Now for First Leg of 2012 MLS Eastern Conference Finals

HOUSTON, TX (Monday, November 5, 2012) - Facing the possibility of a home playoff game this Saturday, the Dynamo announced today that tickets are now on sale for the potential first leg of the 2012 MLS Eastern Conference Final series. Should the Dynamo advance to the next round, they will host the first leg of this home-and-home, aggregate-scoring series at BBVA Compass Stadium at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 10.
Tickets for the first leg, presented by Kroger, may be purchased at www.HoustonDynamo.com, by calling 713-276-GOAL, or by visiting the BBVA Compass Stadium box office (2200 Texas St., Houston) from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Dynamo would face the winner of the D.C. United-New York Red Bulls semifinal series.
"Sunday was an exciting day of playoff soccer," said Dynamo President Chris Canetti." We are very excited about the possibility of hosting another playoff game and making preparations in the event we are in a fortunate enough position to advance. I appreciate the playoff support we have received from the community and hope we can return home this Saturday for another great day."
2012 season ticket holders will have the first right to purchase their exact seat locations via a private window through 3 p.m., Tuesday, November 6. Those tickets must be purchased through http://www.houstondynamo.com/myaccount. All seats are currently on sale, including group tickets and playoff 4-packs which can be purchased by calling 713-276-GOAL.
In order to host this game, the Dynamo must advance past Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday night (8:00 p.m., Fox Sports Houston). Houston will move on in the two-leg aggregate series with a win or a tie by any score, or a 1-0 loss. Should Sporting Kansas City win 2-0, the teams will play a 30-minute overtime period and, if necessary, go to penalty kicks. If Sporting KC wins by three or more goals, the Houston Dynamo will be eliminated from the MLS Cup Playoffs.
