With sales of nearly 500 tickets, Haw Creek Elementary established the new record donation of $2,312.40 returned by the Gladiators for a school fundraising effort since the program was established in 2004. Over eight seasons, nearly $200,000 has been generated and returned directly to benefit various local schools through this outstanding group fundraising opportunity. Similar ticket-based fundraising efforts conducted in support of a variety of community groups, non-profit entities, and charitable activities/events resulted in additional direct cash contributions totaling nearly $119,000 during the "11-12 season. The combined philanthropic investment made by Gwinnett Gladiators Professional Hockey in the greater Atlanta, Gwinnett County, and North Georgia communities since the inaugural 2003-2004 season is estimated to exceed $1.7 million dollars.
The Gladiators are the ECHL Affiliate of the Phoenix Coyotes of the National Hockey League and are members of the ECHL, the Premier "AA" Hockey League. All home games are played at the Arena at Gwinnett Center, located just off I-85 on Sugarloaf Parkway in Duluth, GA.
