Bobblection 2012 Is Back on Thursday

FORT MYERS, Fla. (August 29, 2012) - Traditionally, the State of Florida's 29 electoral votes are coveted amongst presidential candidates, but on Thursday, August 30, Hammond Stadium will be the final and deciding stop of BOBBLECTION ¢ 2012 presented by the Galae Grotto and your Southwest Florida Masonic Family.
The Goldklang Group, the ownership group of the Fort Myers Miracle, will engineer the nationally recognized promotion over seven dates and 10 ballparks around Minor League baseball in the month of August. BOBBLECTION ¢ 2012 will tally each and every vote at www.bobblection.com.
Joining the Miracle will be the Charleston RiverDogs, Hudson Valley Renegades, Pittsfield Suns and the St. Paul Saints of the Goldklang Group as well as the Asheville Tourists, Hickory Crawdads and Lakewood BlueClaws of the South Atlantic League along with the Fargo-Moorhead Redhawks and Lincoln Saltdogs of the American Association.
At Hammond Stadium, prior to a 7:05 p.m. first pitch with the Charlotte Stone Crabs, the gates and polls will open at 6 p.m. 1,000 total bobbleheads will be available; 500 with the likeness of Mitt Romney and 500 of Barack Obama. The first candidate to run out of bobbleheads will be declared the winner of Florida.
BOBBLECTION ¢ 2012 with the Fort Myers Miracle is put on by the Galae Grotto and the Southwest Florida Masonic Family. The Galae Grotto present "Fill the Fez Night" benefitting the Humanitarian Foundation, providing dental care for special needs children one smile at a time.
"This is our team, part of our community," said Dr. Mark Smith, a member of the Galae Grotto, "We are supporting them and we are asking our community to support the local children we serve."
In addition to "Fill the Fez Night," the Galae Grotto will be raffling off a custom built motorcycle. Fred Underwood, of American Legend Motorcycles, has built a one-off, 127-inch cubic engine, six-speed, soft tail chopper and the Galae Grotto will be selling raffle tickets with the drawing to be held on September 2 at the Shell Factory.
