The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League announced today that the 10th annual Champions for Education Golf Tournament will be held Wednesday, September 12 at Peek'n Peak Resort and Spa's Lower Course in Findley Lake, N.Y.

The 11:00 a.m. shotgun tournament will offer golfers an opportunity to play with a member of the Otters (current or alumni) on one of the Erie-area's most picturesque and challenging courses. The Lower Course has received a 3 1/2 star rating from Golf Digest Magazine.

The benefactor of the Tournament is the Erie Otters Education Fund, which supports The Brad Boyes Scholarship, awarded annually to a local male high school athlete who excels on and off the playing field. The Fund also assists in the educational needs of former members of the Otters following their OHL careers. The tournament also supports numerous charities.

Registration for the tourney is $150 per player and includes golf with a GPS-equipped cart, lunch, snacks and beverages on the course, dinner following golf, prizes and much, much more. Space is limited so register today by calling Sean Newsham of the Erie Otters at 814-455-7779.
