Force Not with Spinners as Rain Postpones Spinners, Doubleheader Set for 5:05 Sunday

July 28, 2012 - New York-Penn League (NYPL) Lowell Spinners

LOWELL, MA - The inclement weather is setting up shop in the Merrimack Valley, forcing the postponement of Saturday's Lowell Spinners game on Star Wars Day at LeLacheur Park.

The game will be made up as part of a single-admission doubleheader Sunday, July 29 with the game beginning at 5:05. The second game will start approximately 45 minutes after the completion of game one.

Any fan holding a ticket for the Spinners July 28 game may exchange that ticket in person for a ticket of equal or lesser value to any 2012 home game, based on availability. If a fan receives a ticket of lesser value, the fan will receive the difference back in Spinners Dollars. Under no circumstances will tickets for the July 28 game be exchanged straight-up for Spinners Dollars.

For example: If the fan had a $10 ticket and exchanged it for a $6 seat then the fan will receive an additional $4 back in Spinners Dollars. Spinners Dollars can be used at concession and merchandise stands and will expire on December 31 of this year.

Star Wars Day will be rescheduled for a to be determined 2012 date, as will the post-game Fireworks show.
