
Brandon Wood Wins TCL Home Run Derby

Brazos Valley Bombers News Release
Tonight, before the TCL All Star Game in Victoria, the home run derby was held. The Bombers' Brandon Wood and Texas A&M left fielder, was the last player to bat in the first round. He belted eight blasts in the round to advance to the finals. During the finals, Aggie Brandon Wood, hit seven blasts to take the crown at this years event. The Bombers congratulate Wood on this years crown for TCL Victoria Nissan Home Run Derby Champion.
The Bombers will be on the road for the most of this week. They will play at East Texas, Victoria and Texas Marshals. They return to American Momentum Bank Ballpark this Sunday when they play The Woodlands. The game will be a Sundae Funday with $1 Sundaes and Baseball Bingo brought to you by Brazos Bingo! The Woodlands will also be in town on Monday for a Monday Feast with 50 cent Hot Dogs, Peanuts, and Popcorn courtesy of FedStar Credit Union.
