Barons Open Three-Game Set against the Tennessee Smokies

Birmingham, AL - The Birmingham Barons will open a three-game series against the Tennessee Smokies, Double-A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs, beginning Wednesday, July 11th at 7:05 PM.

The home stand kicks off with AAA Wednesday presented by AAA of Alabama. Wednesday will also be Bark In The Park at Regions Park as fans can bring their dogs to the ballpark for a night of baseball and fun! Following each game of the series, the Barons will be passing out discount coupons to Big Lots as part of the Back To School Series.

Thursday marks the return of Thirsty Thursdays featuring 16 oz. beverages for $1 presented by Budweiser and Buffalo Wild Wings. Thursday's game is also Ladies Night presented by the AVEDA Institute. The first 500 ladies in attendance will receive a special price courtesy of AVEDA. Prior to Thursday's game there will be a pre-game concert presented by Redline Bar & Grill. Gates will open at 6:00 PM.

The home stand concludes with a post-game fireworks show on Friday presented by Coca-Cola, Dales Seasoning and MBS. The Barons will be giving away Kids Jerseys to the first 1,500 kids courtesy of Coca-Cola. Friday is also Breast Cancer Awareness Night. As part of the festivities, the Barons will be giving away pink autographed hats, bats and other prizes. The Barons will also raffle off tote bags courtesy of the Vera Bradley Foundation.
