GREAT FALLS, MONT - The Missoula Osprey had to wait over two hours to play the Great Falls Voyagers on Friday here at Centene Stadium, but the Osprey used a strong offensive outburst in the middle innings to take home a 9-2 win in front of 1,530 fans.

Michael Perez, Breland Almadova and Evan Marzilli each had two hits and a RBI, while John Leonard plated a pair of runs in the two big O's innings. Jake Lamb would finish with three hits for the Osprey, who collected 14 hits on the night.

Great Falls jumped out to a 2-0 lead on a two-run home run from catcher Mike Marjama off of Missoula starter Karl Triana. The Osprey would respond with a three-run fourth and a six-run fifth to give the O's a 9-2 lead.

Triana pitched five innings and allowed just two hits and a pair of runs to pick up his second win in three decisions. Three other Osprey pitchers allowed just two hits in keeping the Voyagers off the scoreboard for the final four innings.

The Osprey will now head to Helena to take on the Brewers in a three-game series at Kindrick Legion Field. The Osprey send right-hander Jared Ray to the mound on Saturday in the series lidlifter, while the Brewers counter with right-hander Tyler Wagner.

The Osprey will return home to start a seven-game homestand against Grand Junction and Orem on Wednesday, July 11. Tickets are available now at the MSO Hub Box Office, located at 140 North Higgins in Downtown Missoula, online at MissoulaOsprey.com and by phone (406) 543-3300.
