Cougar Added to All-Star Roster

GENEVA, IL - The Midwest League has announced that Kane County Cougars pitcher Matt Ridings will replace Nick Graffeo on the Western Division All-Star roster for the June 19th Midwest League All-Star Game. Graffeo was promoted to Class-A Advanced Wilmington earlier this week. Ridings joins teammates Lane Adams and Jorge Bonifacio as Cougars on the All-Star squad. All three players will be part of the league's annual mid-season classic, hosted by the Cougars on Tuesday, June 19 at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark.
Ridings is 4-2 with a 2.34 ERA in 18 appearances this season for the Cougars, and has allowed just 3 earned runs in his last 17.1 innings of work.
