What You Need To Know About The Toronto Marlies...

- Toronto has posted a record of 11-4 in the 2012 Calder Cup Playoffs

- The Marlies are 7-0 in the playoffs when scoring the first goal. The team is also 11-0 when recording more than three goals in a post-season contest.

- Philippe Dupuis ranks first (tie) in AHL playoff assists (10). Dupuis is now just two points shy of tying Jay Harrison for the Marlies all-time lead in playoff points.

- The Marlies post-season penalty kill ranks first in the AHL (94.3%). Toronto has killed off 43 of their last 46 penalties.

- Jake Gardiner ranks second in AHL post-season powerplay assists (6)

- The Marlies have outscored opponents 21-10 in the third period thus far in the post-season

Last Week:

The Toronto Marlies dropped games one and two of the 2012 Calder Cup Final against the Norfolk Admirals from the Scope Arena in Norfolk.

In the first ever meeting between the two teams on Friday, June 1, the Admirals defeated the Marlies by a score of 3-1.

Ben Scrivens made 39 saves in the loss, while Carter Ashton recorded his first career professional playoff goal.

In game two on Saturday night, Norfolk defeated Toronto by a score of 4-2.

Ben Scrivens made 28 saves in the loss and Joe Colborne recorded his second goal of the post- season.

Look Ahead:

Alexandre Picard continues to lead the Admirals attack, with 16 points in 16 games over the 2012 playoffs. He also leads the team in penalty minutes with 48 over that same span.

Goaltender Dustin Tokarski leads the AHL playoffs in goals against average (1.63) and is tied for the best save percentage with Toronto's Ben Scrivens (0.940).
