Honkers Announce 2012 Promotional Schedule

(Rochester, MN)-With the 2012 Northwoods League season one week away, the Rochester Honkers Baseball Club has officially announced their Promotional Events Schedule including a plethora of exciting events and giveaways for the people that give the Honkers a reason to play: the fans.
Highlighting the promotional events this summer are four Firework Extravaganza Nights and nine games with giveaways including free magnet schedules, posters, pennants, trading cards, thunder sticks, and even jerseys given to the first select number of Honker fans.
The Honkers will also host a Mascot Olympics on June 11th when the Waterloo Bucks come to town. This event will showcase various recognizable mascots from around town and from around the state of Minnesota.
Even the world famous ZOOperstars will be at Mayo Field this year! As "the fastest growing entertainment act in the country", the ZOOperstars have been entertaining audiences with their dancing and silly antics since 1998, and have performed in front of over 30 million fans across the world. According to their website zoopersars.com, "they flip, they bounce, they shake, they dance and they just flat out JAM!"
The Honkers are even introducing a "Life's a Beach" Night with margarita specials on July 7th and the first ever "Bark in the Park" day, where fans may bring their dog to the ballgame, and "Princess Night."
Other exciting promotions to mark on the calendar include three I Bike/Walk Rochester events. On these dates, fans can park and walk from a designated parking lot and get four free tickets, or bike to Mayo Field and get one free ticket.
