The Windsor Spitfires are pleased to announce the club has re-signed five members of the hockey operations staff.
Dave Matsos (Assistant Coach), Paul Billing (Goalie Coach) and Joey Garland (Strength & Conditioning Coach) have all inked multi-year extensions with the Spitfires, in addition to Jerrod Smith (Video Coach), who also signed an extension.
J.R. Grant (former assistant Equipment Manager) has been promoted and has signed a multi-year contract as the team's new Head Equipment Manager.
"From the hockey operations side, we've worked very hard over the last few weeks to maintain a solid core and consistent environment to build our success this season," said President & Head Coach Bob Boughner. "I'm very excited and look forward to what we've built for the upcoming hockey season both on and off the ice."
These contract extensions solidify the Spitfires' hockey operations staff, which includes Bob Jones (Associate Coach) and D.J. Smith (Assistant Coach), who are already secured under multi-year contracts.
