Poulk Transferred To Jupiter; Dominguez Transferred To Jacksonville

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns, Double-A minor league affiliate of the Miami Marlins, announced today that INF Dallas Poulk has been transferred to the Jupiter Hammerheads, effective AFTER the first game of the doubleheader against the Montgomery Biscuits on Sunday May 13, 2012. In a corresponding move, INF Jeff Dominguez has been transferred from New Orleans to the Jacksonville Suns. Dominguez is available for the 2nd game of Sunday's doubleheader in Montgomery, Ala.

Poulk, who played in 11 games for the Suns in 2012, hit .184 with two RBI in 38 plate appearances. Poulk heads to Jupiter where he hit .255 with one homerun and seven RBI in 47 plate appearances earlier this season.

Dominguez, who started off the season for the Jacksonville Suns, hit .209 with one RBI in 43 plate appearances with the New Orleans Zephyrs. Dominguez will be available for game two of Sunday's doubleheader.
