MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Tampa Bay Rays have announced that RHP Jim Paduch has been promoted from the Biscuits to Triple-A Durham, and RHP Marquis Fleming has been transferred from Durham to Montgomery.
Fleming was a Southern League All-Star for the Biscuits in 2011, going 5-4 with a 3.59 in 41 appearances. In 7 outings for the Bulls in 2012, his ERA has grown to 9.00, striking out 6 while walking 10 over 13.0 IP.
The Biscuits roster is at the league-max of 25 active players.
