
Tulsa Earns Overtime Win at Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, SD - Marcus Lewis recorded his 23rd double-double of the season with 22 points and 16 rebounds and the visiting Tulsa 66ers (16-18) used hot shooting to outlast the Sioux Falls Skyforce (8-24) in overtime, 119-114, Friday night inside Sioux Falls Arena.
Also scoring in double figures for Tulsa was Delroy James with a season-high 24, Jerome Dyson with 22, Robert Vaden with 21 and Larry Owens with 17.
The 66ers shot 47-84 (.547) on the night, marking their highest shooting percentage performance of the season. The team was also hot from long range, going 12-20 (.600) from beyond the arc.
Playing in its third overtime contest of the season, Tulsa tallied 25 assists, led by six dishes from Lewis and five from Dyson and Owens.
The 66ers also turned in a strong performance on the defensive end by forcing 22 Skyforce turnovers and creating 12 steals, led by Dyson, James and Vaden with three thefts each. Tulsa, who held Sioux Falls to just two points in the overtime period, also notched nine blocked shots, led by James and Owens with three swats each.
Leading Sioux Falls was Trey Gilder with a game-high 30 points and 16 rebounds.
The 66ers and Skyforce will meet again this Sunday, Feb. 19, at 3 p.m. CT inside Sioux Falls Arena.
