
Tulsa 66ers Re-Acquire Larry Owens

TULSA, Okla., Feb. 4, 2012 - The Tulsa 66ers, proud affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, announced today they have re-acquired forward Larry Owens.
Owens earned a GATORADE Call-Up earlier this season after being signed by the New Jersey Nets on Jan. 18. In seven games, Owens averaged 1.9 points and 1.9 rebounds in 10.7 minutes.
Prior to the Nets, Owens was averaging 13.2 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.9 assists through 10 games (seven starts) in his third season with the 66ers.
Owens participated in training camp and appeared in one preseason game with the Washington Wizards this past December. Last season, the Oral Roberts product earned two GATORADE Call-ups with the San Antonio Spurs and Washington Wizards.
Owens will be in uniform tonight wearing No. 32 when the Tulsa 66ers host the Texas Legends at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.
