
Online Ticket Sales Begin for April and May Games

Manchester, NH - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A Affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, announced the start of online single-game ticket sales on the team's website, www.nhfishercats.com. Beginning Thursday, February 2, fans may order tickets for any game at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium during the months of April and May. In conjunction with the start of single-game sales, the team has unveiled select promotions and events that highlight the early portion of the new season.
"This is an energetic time of year as we get closer to the start of a new season," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "We are excited to begin individual ticket sales while also giving our fans a glimpse of the coming attractions beginning in April."
This year's schedule opens with a bang for the Fisher Cats with a post-game Atlas Fireworks show on Opening Day, April 12. Special festivities during the season opener will honor the 2011 Eastern League Championship, part of a season-long celebration of the Fisher Cats second league title.
The first home stand includes the return of the belly-busting Rock 101 and The Morning Buzz All-You-Can-Eat Days. On Saturday April 14 and April 28, fans can enjoy all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, and nachos with the purchase of any $12 or $14 ticket. Through Friday, March 16, fans can purchase the official Belly Buster Package which includes a premium box seat ticket to both All-You-Can-Eat Days and a special All-You-Can-Eat Belly Buster T-Shirt for only $40.
The 2011 championship will be commemorated with a pair of early-season giveaways. On Opening Day, the first 2,500 fans will receive a Magnet Schedule presented by Elliot Urgent Care at River's Edge. On May 23, the first 1,000 fans will receive a 2011 Eastern League Championship T-shirt.
The month of May also features the first of four visits from the Portland Sea Dogs, the Eastern League affiliate of the Boston Red Sox. From May 21-24 the Fisher Cats host their Downeast rivals in a four-game series capped off by an Atlas Fireworks Show. The clubs will play a total of 15 times on the banks of the Merrimack River throughout the summer.
On Mother's Day, the Fisher Cats are once again partnering with Millennium Running to host the Mother's Day Mile, an event that will honor all moms while benefiting Catholic Medical Center. To celebrate Memorial Day, all veteran and active military get in free courtesy of BAE Systems.
Additional early-season giveaways include a Kids Jersey courtesy of Northeast Delta Dental on May 12. On May 20, the first 2,500 fans will receive a Player Poster presented by Spectrum Marketing Companies. This giveaway is paired with a post-game autograph session with Fisher Cats players.
Fans can begin purchasing single-game tickets for April and May games only by visiting the Fisher Cats website, www.nhfishercats.com. Tickets for all Fisher Cats games will be made available in-person, by phone, and by internet on Thursday, March 1. The full 2012 Promotional Schedule, which features 29 Atlas Fireworks shows, will be released next week.
