Dubuque Fighting Saints News Release
DUBUQUE, Iowa - The Fighting Saints will try to close out their longest roadtrip of the season on a high note this evening, facing off against the Muskegon Lumberjacks at 4:15 p.m. CST. The Fighting Saints opened the trip on Friday with a loss in Youngstown, and then bounced back last night, winning 3-2 over Team USA in Ann Arbor. A win or overtime loss tonight would bring the Fighting Saints into sole possession of third place in the Eastern Conference - they enter the game tied in points with Youngstown with one game in hand.
The Lumberjacks recently made a coaching change, installing NHL-veteran *Jim McKenzie* behind the bench as they try to jumpstart their record in the second half of the season. The Lumberjacks fell 5-3 to the Indiana Ice on Saturday night, have won just once in their last ten games, and are in last place in the Eastern Conference.
The Fighting Saints will return home next weekend, hosting Youngstown and Indiana on Friday and Saturday nights. The Fighting Saints will play nine games in February, seven of which will be played at home, and all of which will be played within 90 miles of the Key City.
Pregame coverage for tonight's game begins at 3:45 p.m. CST on Dubuque's Super Hits 106 and SuperHits106.com.
