Peoria Rivermen goaltender Ben Bishop stopped all 17 shots on goal en route to his league-leading fifth shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday night at the Bradley Center. The win was Peoria's first this season over the Admirals in six meetings.

The Rivermen finished the weekend 3-0-0 and have now earned a point in seven of their last eight games (6-1-1). The win moved them into third place in the Midwest Division with a 17-15-2-1 record and 37 points.

After a scoreless first period, Adam Cracknell tallied the game's only goal at 11:41 in the second period. Cracknell sent a shot on goal from the slot that hit off of Admirals goaltender Atte Engren's glove and deflected into the net.

Peoria finished the game 1-for-4 on the power play and held Milwaukee scoreless on two opportunities. Engren saved 27 of 28 shots on goal in the loss.

The Rivermen will return home on Friday to start a five-game homestand against the Chicago Wolves at 7:00 p.m. All games can be heard on CD Country 107.9 FM or online through www.rivermen.net. For tickets call 309-676-1040 or visit the Peoria Civic Center box office.
