
Legends Win Third Straight Home Game

Frisco, TX DEC. 23, 2011 - The Texas Legends are rolling, winning three of their last four and now back to back wins against the conference leading Los Angeles D-Fenders.
Chris Roberts, the latest addition to the Legends roster, was on fire tonight connecting on five of six from long range in route to a game high 31 points. Anthony Vereen solidified the paint scoring 19 while grabbing seven rebounds for the Legends on the inside.
Terrence Roberts was extremely active for the D-Fenders ripping down 16 rebounds and contributing 19 points for Los Angeles, but the hot shooting Legends pulled away. Texas for the second time this week against the D-Fenders shot above 50.0% from outside.
Brandon Costner was held in check by the Texas defense, scoring 21 points on four of 12 shooting. The Legends also ferociously guarded the perimeter allowing only one three point make in 12 attempts.
Texas welcomed back Lawrence Hill from the Sacramento Kings training camp tonight. Hill scored four points and collected three rebounds in his return to Frisco.
The Legends (4-8) next play the Rio Grande Valley Vipers (7-6) on December 29th, as they look to win their fourth home game in a row.
