MIDWEST SIDE STORY
The Wolves play six of their remaining eight games in December against Midwest Division foes; Chicago, which has posted a 7-6-0-1 mark against divisional foes this year, shares third place in the Midwest Division with 26 points (11-9-1-3) and holds at least one game in hand on everyone except Milwaukee.

--- DARREN HAYDAR: Became the 22nd player in AHL history to notch 700 career points on Dec. 10 ... Tallied 3 points (G, 2A) in two games last week ... Ranks first on Chicago and shares eighth in the AHL with 19 assists and 27 points in 23 games this season ... His 8 goals share second on the squad ... Accumulated 7 points (G, 6A) in his last five tilts
--- CHRIS TANEV: Paced the team with 6 assists and 6 points in three games last week, which included collecting a career-high 3 helpers and 3 points on Dec. 10 ... Ranks first among Wolves defensemen and third overall on the team with 8 assists and holds second among team blueliners with 8 points in 12 games this season ... Has bagged 8 assists in his last five outings after being held scoreless in his first seven matchups this year
--- MARK MANCARI: Collected 3 goals and 5 points in three games last week ... Paces the Wolves and shares 13th in the AHL with 10 goals and ranks second on the Wolves with 21 points in 24 games this season ... His 11 assists hold second on Chicago ... --- SEBASTIAN ERIXON: Recorded 3 points (G, 2A) in three games last week after missing the previous six outings ... Scored his first career AHL marker on Dec. 10 ... Shares third among Chicago defensemen with 5 points (G, 4A) in 14 matchups this year ... Has tallied 4 points (G, 3A) during a current four-game point streak
--- STEVE REINPRECHT: Dished out 3 assists in three contests last week ... Collected 6 helpers in eight games since making his Wolves debut on Nov. 26 ... Shares fourth on the team with 6 assists in 13 contests this season ... Skated in five games with the San Antonio Rampage before being acquired by the Vancouver Canucks on Oct. 22
WOLF TRACKS
--- Chicago matched a season-high two power-play markers Saturday night (two of five), the sixth time this season the team has bagged multiple power-play goals in a game; the Wolves, who have scored a man-advantage marker in 12 of their last 14 contests, rank 10th in the league with a 20.0 efficiency rating on the power play this season (21 of 105).
--- Defenseman KEVIN CONNAUTON tallied his 8th goal of the season on Dec. 10, which leads AHL blueliners; the 21-year-old blueliner paces Chicago rear guards and ranks third overall with 13 points (8G, 5A) in 24 games this season.
--- Chicago has bagged a short-handed strike in each of the last two games after scoring just one short-handed goal in its first 22 outings; the Wolves share seventh in the AHL with three shorties this year.
--- The Wolves have been perfect on the penalty kill in 14 of their 24 contests this season, which includes twice in three games last week; Chicago ranks seventh in the AHL with a 85.0 efficiency rating on the penalty kill (85 of 100).
--- Chicago has potted 10 first-period goals in its last six games; the Wolves have scored just seven goals in the second and third frames over their last six outings.
GIRLS NIGHT OUT
--- The Wolves host their fifth "Hockey For Her" fundraising event at the Triphahn Community Center and Ice Arena in Hoffman Estates at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Members of the Wolves will provide women an introductory glance at the sport of hockey by giving them the chance to go behind the scenes of a professional team.
