Trenton Titans Unveil Special Jersey

TRENTON, N.J. - In sequence with their return to the Sun National Bank Center ice, the Trenton Titans will be wearing a special set of red "Capital Dome'' jerseys with a unique Inaugural Weekend path.

The Titans will skate with the special jerseys in their Saturday, Oct. 22 home-opener vs. the Florida Everblades and their Sunday, Oct. 23 meeting with the Cincinnati Cyclones.

Fans will have a chance to claim these unique jerseys - which will be signed by the Titans players - at an on-line auction hosted by MeiGray, the Official Game Worn Jersey Source of the ECHL and Titans at http://auction.nhl.com. The auction will begin at 6 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 run until 9 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 10.

"I'm thrilled to be working with MeiGray on this auction,'' said Titans President/CEO Rich Lisk. "We are looking at this as very special opportunity for our fans.

"This is one of the many special plans we have for our fans as we make our return to the ice on our Inaugural Weekend.''

Barry Meisel, MeiGray Group President and Chief Operating Officer, is also excited to make to reconnect with the Titans and the re-established team's marketing possibilities.

"We're glad the Titans are back,'' said Meisel. "The Titans jersey has always been the one of the most popular styles for game-worn jersey collectors.

The Titans will play two preseason games, meeting Elmira at 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 7 at Pro Skate in Monmouth Junction, and visiting Reading at the Sovereign Center at 4:05 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 9.

The team makes its regular-season ECHL return at Elmira Oct. 14, with a scheduled 2011-12 home-opener vs. Florida Oct. 22. All Titans games will be broadcast on 107.7 FM "The Bronc" and via the Internet at http://www.1077thebronc.com/ with Daryle Dobos calling the action.
